Gene Arthur is an accomplished visual artist renowned for her distinctive style, characterized by bold strokes of acrylic paint and the skillful incorporation of mixed media. Her artistic practice spans a wide range of interdisciplinary forms, often blending the vibrant energy of pop art with moments that invite a sense of whimsy. Drawing inspiration from her background as a dancer, artist/activist, and the bold visual language of pop art, Gene masterfully weaves theatrical elements into both literal and abstract concepts.

Her work was recently featured at Everybody’s Coffee in Chicago from June through September of 2025, and she will be a featured artist in Jackson Junge’s exhibition TEN by TEN in Wicker Park from November 3rd 2025 through January 11th 2026.
